  1. Print & Read: These printable study guides provide an overview, including note taking space for each guided exercise in the video lesson and offer "pencil and paper" practice problems. Click here to see some sample study plans.

  2. Watch to Learn: The video will launch and play instruction from Elayn Martin-Gay, an award winning master teacher.

  3. Explore to Understand: Math explorations allow you to use interactive technology to reinforce learning concepts taught in the video.

  4. Practice to Remember: These are online practice problems that give immediate feedback on your progress.

  5. Review to Master: The review is a printable supplement to each lesson that includes additional explanations and examples.

3. Show Your Knowledge

A short test after each lesson checks for understanding of the topic and you automatically continue to the next lesson once you show mastery.

4. Go To Next Lesson

Ascend will automatically direct you to the next lesson in your study plan or if you have completed a unit, Ascend will present you with a new quiz in order to assess your knowledge of the next learning unit and again direct you to learning activities.
